Hmmm, the number one thing on my wish list would have to be a Cleaning Service for a year. I so neglect my house cleaning duties and it would be such a relief to have someone come in and dust, vacuum and just make things smell nice once a week.

#1 on my Christmas list is peace and harmony. I’m not really asking or looking for much, I’d rather give my time and effort to my favorite cause. I’d love if everyone would help me out. I’ll have more details on it on my site later. But the kids are different…They’re all about the Wii and new laptops and anything high tech!

With the economy being so tough on everyone, I’ve asked anyone who’s buying for my family, to instead donate to charity as our Christmas present. Or to give us wrapped toys which we can donate to kids in need. That’s ALL I want.

Wow! Thanks for a great giveaway. I’m an email subscriber.

As for my #1 holiday wish list item… I dont have anything material to say, I really dont have a lot of ‘wants’. But I am wishing for a healthy baby boy in January. It would be super if he was no more than 8.5 pounds too, but is that asking too much?? (I dont think so)

I already subscribe and love it! The top of my Christmas list (in addition to the world peace, fix for financial slump, and help for all the local charities) is a new digital camera for myself to catch all of those beautiful Christmas morning pictures.

Lisa @ Crazy Adventures in Parenting November 24, 2008 3:15 pm • Comment #18

I already subscribe, that’s how I heard about this!

My #1 item I need for Xmas is a new camera. Mine was just accidentally dropped 2 days ago, and everytime I turn it on it says “High Camera Temperature” and shuts off. It’s officially done. I take pictures of my six children daily, I don’t know what to do with myself now to not have a camera! It has served me well these 4 years, but now I need another, badly!

The husband and I were just at Best Buy yesterday… I hinted that I wanted one of the Wii’s they had piles of.. Ok, it’ wasn’t really a hint.. I just said “buy me that Wii” again and again but it still didn’t sink in with him :)

Other then that.. number one on my wishlist is a Flip camera and a iPod touch.. neither one of these things I really need (of course, I do need the Wii, lol) but I’m always looking at the Flip cameras thinking of everything I would video and the iPod touch.. well, I just love that commercial!

My number 1 wish this year is for my hubby to stay home and not go overseas to visit his mom. He goes every year in December and misses the holiday and his daughters birthday, which hurts her feelings. This year she turns 18, and I would love for him to stay home and share this birthday with her, it would go far in healing hurts that have been aching for years.

thanks so much for offering this great giveaway,

I’m already a subscriber and my husband and I are expecting are first baby soon, really soon! I’m due Jan 6th, but I doubt I will make it that long.. So we might end up getting a new little baby boy for Christmas. :) Something on my wish list other than a Wii would be a bread maker, I know Im totally boring. But I love to bake and won’t have as much time to when my new little guy gets here, so a sweet bread maker would help a bunch.

I, like so many others, am hoping for a better year ahead. This one’s been rough on so many families.

We’d love a Wii as a family gift to enjoy together - otherwise, I’m hoping for a fuzzy new pair of slippers to wear at the hospital in January for the birth of baby #3!

Fantacy November 24, 2008 8:31 pm • Comment #38

:) I know it sounds cliche and cheesy, but seriously, the number one thing on my list is not a thing per se…I just want my kids to have a great Christmas! Hubby lost his job a couple years ago and finally found another job but it pays about 1/3 of what his old job paid so the kids have went without the nicer things this year. I would love to give them a nice Christmas…..If I knew they were going to have a magical Christmas, the one thing I would have on MY list would be a 1TB external hard drive….I take 100s of pics of them almost every month and would love to have the space to keep all those pics on! :D Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday, and Happy Thanksgiving!

A new diswasher is on the top of my list. Don’t think it’s going to happen this year though. I’d love to win this (like everyone else!) because I really need to get back into yoga after giving birth this year, and I’ve heard the Wii fit is great.

Anyway, the thing on my wish list that I really want is a TV stand that has doors that close, since my crawling son keeps pulling at our stereo and DVD player. But I’ll keep dreaming about the cabinet, and focus on something real like a new pair of socks!

I have subscribed to your site. I would love to be entered for a Wii. I have an old Playstation 1 but it sticks about half way through a disc. My grandson and me used to play on it all the time. He played baseball but we raced on Bandacoot. and played Wheel of Fortune. I woul love to have that closeness with him again.Every one tells me the Wii is the game to buy. I just can’t afort to pay any game. I am 66 and on a fixed income and this would not be in my budget. Not complaining because I am truly BLESSED. My wish for Christmas is to have all my family at home at one time. We are all close and those that are scattered seem to get here at different times. I am praying all are here at one time this year. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Blessed Prosperous New Year and may the true spirit of Chrismas last the whole year through. Good luck to everyone else (if I don’t WIN).

I have lots of non-tangible things to wish for (unlimited maid service, professional organizer, good health, Christian Bale and a bottle of hot fudge, etc.) so I’ll comment with something tangible. I’d like a regular iPod. I have an iPod mini but I’d like to have playlists, menus, etc. And an iHome to go with it.

This year for Christmas I am really focussed on my 2 year old. I personally want a Wii. But aside from that I am trying to save up to get my son a Jeep! I wanted to get him one last year but I thought about it and I think he wouldve been way too little to drive it without hurting himself sooooo…. Instead of saving up to get a Wii Im saving to get his Jeep!!

Nº1 on my Christmas Wish List, hmmm, let´s see… A shopping spree at Home Depot so my husband and I can tackle our list of home repairs. Seriously though, we are thankful to have a roof over our heads and like so many others this year, we are not spending much on gifts, aside from the kids, so winning something would be an extra and unexpected treat.

I really want a video camera for the holidays. I received one from my cousins for the birth of my twins but my husband returned it to buy an air conditioner for their room. They’re already 10 months old and I so badly want to record their cute stages and antics but with the economy the way it is, I doubt I’ll get one.

This would be the ultimate win for me! I am 1 of the 6 Wii Fit Mommiis and I don’t have one yet. My husband works in the auto industry and was just laid off so just can’t find the means to get one right now. I entered Classy Mommys Wii contest and was 5th out of 800. I tried my best :)

The thing I would want most for Christmas this year is nothing tangible. I would wish for good luck to get through the holidays financially so my kids could have a decent Christmas.

Thanks for the Chance to win!

Don’t get me wrong, I understand that they have other families to be with, but since I was a little girl, it was always tradition to be together on x-mas eve night and the kids would open their gifts and then on x-mas day we had a big dinner and the kids all brought a gift they recieved or what they got from santa and it was always so much fun. I want a new Ipod for Christmas. My old one was a hand-me-down from my husband that became musically challenged toward the end of it’s life. The screen broke and would only show the top third of the data but it kept playing like a trooper. Finally about 4 months later the battery stopped taking a charge. We got our moneys worth out of it. To have it repaired would cost over $150 and it only had 4GB of memory so my DH is getting me a new one.

Next year I am going to save up and get a Kitchen Aid I can’t wait.

The number one thing on my Christmas wish list is to pay off our debt. My husband and I absolutely love to give gifts all year round, but with a small amount of debt in our lives, we are unable to give as freely as we would prefer. Aside from gifts though, I wish that my husband and I would be a strong impact in someone’s life; that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. What a wonderful time of year! Trusting in God…

My number one thing that I want for christmas is for my family to be together, for my children to understand that the true meaning of christmas is not about presents and material things but rather that it is about rejoicing with your family in the gift that God gave us when he sent his son to live with us and to die for us. If somehow I can instill that understanding in my children then I will have received the best gift there is…

Catherine December 9, 2008 12:28 pm • Comment #366

I have strange wish lists. They always start out, #1-That my children are alive and healthy (then a simple thing, last year it was a measuring cup I can use in the microwave.) This year I think it would be # 2- 2 scales, a food scale (for the kitchen )and a good weight scale (for me). Winning the WII would be great as the children want one,and its not in our budget.

Amber December 9, 2008 12:28 pm • Comment #367

I would LOVE to win this for my 2 kids. They have been wanting one for the past 2 years, but everytime they become available in our area, by the time I get there to buy it, they are sold out already. I didn’t think that there could possibly be that many people who still didn’t have one and wanted one. Although the whole family would love this to play together, I think I agree with the other momma who wanted the Kitchenaid mixer, that has been on my list for 3 years now. Thanks for the opportunity for this win and I hope everyone who reads this has a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year.

This year, my wish is for my baby boy to make a healthy arrival into this world (I’m due Dec 21st) and if it happens prior to Christmas, what an amazing gift for us. My 2 yr old will become a big sister and my husband and I can cuddle up with our 2 precious miracles. Kind of gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling all over. =)

The thing I want most this Christmas is a holiday miracle. For my mom’s 50th birthday, she found out that she has cancer. She is having surgery on her tumor next week. Needless to say, my sister and I are very nervous, and my mom has been feeling very down about it also. My mom raised my sister and I all by herself, and always put OUR needs first, so if I win the Wii, I would love to give it to my mom.. She wants one so our entire family can play, but I know she can’t afford it right now, so if I’m blessed enough to win this, I would love to give it to my mom as a surprise! She will be recovering for a few weeks, and what better way than with her new Wii? Thank you so much for the giveaway, I was just thinking that I wish I could win a Wii for my mom, then I found your blog! So this is perfect.

Well, other than a Wii for my family, I’d love a couple good days off. I’d really like to just sit, read, sip tea and relax without thinking about all the other things I could be doing. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a generous giveaway.

If I could have anything for Christmas, it would be for The Mighty Hunter’s job to allow him to be at home more. He travels 10 days and is home 4. Sissy (almost 8) is missing him terribly, and Lucky (almost 2) is growing up without him.

As for a REALISTIC gift, I’d like a Dyson ball vacuum AND someone to use it for me! Really, just the Dyson would rock my world!

My number one wish for Christmas is a safe trip for my mom. She lives near me and will be flying to California to be with my sister and her family for the holidays.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Merry Christmas!

Leslie December 9, 2008 3:50 pm • Comment #467

The number one item on my wish list this year is memories with my sisters. This is the last year we will all be together because we are all moving to different states. The way that our families (in-laws included) celebrate is very different and we are most likely never all going to be home the same year.
Next on the list is the ring my boyfriend has been withholding from my pretty little finger. I hope I get it for Christmas! Wish me luck?

Carrie December 9, 2008 3:51 pm • Comment #468

My number one wish for Christmas this year, is to reclaim the spirit of Christmas. When my kids were little, my husband and I took great joy from the lengths we went to in order to keep our kids believing in the big guy. We had so many other people in on it. We would even tell the santa at the mall what they got last year, so that when they got through the line to sit on his lap, he could ask them if they were still enjoying and taking care of it, and we went to the same santa every year, so they just knew him. Since my kids have stopped believing now that they are older, I have kind of lost the wonderment of the Christmas spirit. That is what I want for Christmas this year, that way, weather my kids believe or not, we can all still feel the magic of Christmas.

Beth December 9, 2008 3:52 pm • Comment #469

My christmas wish is for me to be able to find a job, sounds easy but it isn’t .I have been looking for a job since June because the plant that i worked 6 years for closed. Now i am trying to make ends meet !! It might be easier if it was just me but i am a single parent with no help from anyone.

The only thing my girls want for Christmas is a Wii and they are not even into video games at all. Since that one is not allowed, I would have to say that I don’t really want anything except for my husband to find a job. He is being laid off on December 31. I am believing for a Christmas blessing for him and our family.

My number one item on my christmas list this year is a personal PC so that I am able to do my work anywhere I go. This year my husband and I decided not to give gifts to eachother since we are a little tight on money because of the two hurricanes that hit down here in LA, so I plan on saving money from christmas gifts and birthday gifts, wait until they go on sale and hopefully get one. This Wii would be the greatest gift for my husband and kids.
